Assistant Advisor-Employee Program

CSEA, one of New York State’s largest public employee unions, is seeking resumes for an Employee Program Assistant, Advisor for the NYS/CSEA Partnership for Education and Training. The office is located on Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, New York. Responsibilities include providing educational advisement support for CSEA represented employees. Specific responsibilities include providing assistance with tuition benefits, career counseling, and other education programs offered by the Partnership. Salary range $55,005 - $68,805 with excellent benefits.

Qualifications: An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience providing educational advisement to adult learners; (Bachelor's Degree preferred) or two years of experience providing education advisement to adult learners; or three years of experience working within a labor-management training and education environment OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of appropriate experience and education as determined by the NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training and CSEA. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal, administrative, communication, and presentation skills.
