The Town of Schodack is seeking candidates for the position of Police Chief. This is a provisional position that requires taking the next Rensselaer City Civil Service Exam.

The Salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience. Schodack residency is preferred.

Our offices are located on Schuurman Road in Castleton and Schodack is a town located in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The population was 12,965 as of the 2020 census. The town name is derived from the Mahican word, Escotak. The town is in the southwestern part of the county. Schodack is located southeast of Albany, New York.
